i get my embed/URL but when i try to open it
i must download the plugin

You should download Adobe Shockwave player from here - handle_url_tag('http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/')
Your friend on Facebook should make it too. Then just send him the link at your 3D album.

I can't get any pics to download. I can pick my pic, crop it and then this fan pops up and starts spinning after about 20 minutes I just cancel. Am i doing something wrong? Help. I have seen these down and i so want to do some too.

i can't upload my photos from disk
When I choose "to load a photo from a disk" and then on the button "review" Firefox 3.6.12 crash completely, Opera, IE, Crome too. handle_url_tag('http://s006.radikal.ru/i214/1011/8c/f1f6136dc653.jpg')
Version Adobe flash 10,1,85,3. Tried to reinstall both Firefox and Opera and Flash - the error remained. Reinstalled Win XP SP3 - hasn't helped.
Viruses aren't present.

The resulting sizes of funny photo images depend on the template's size. Curently it is limited to about 800 pixels. So, placing photos into funny.pho.to templates decreases their size.

In 6th section of this documantation you'll find demo keys.
You can first test the API with free demo keys and then make a desicion to buy a paid key. For buying the key drop a message at pr [] vicman.net

loury, do you see the "Browse" button while uploading? And then the "Upload" button? Or you stuck at processing progress?
jasonbill, you can use it for .jpeg format (just uploading image from disk), but not for .psd format.
But for using in Adobe Photoshop you can first save the .psd image in .png or .jpeg format and them denoise it with our tool.
Kat, Mitch3go, we have been refreshing the service, and it may cause some problems in its work.
Hey found this great forum googling for private photo albums! I know this is a bit of a zombie thread, but can I ask if this has been implemented and what the details are?
Please feel free to point my way to a FAQ on the service or where I can go to explore it. In particular I am looking for either a key-based security (so that I could take some photos I want to share with the family, pass it to a cousin, and then if they wanted to they could just pass the 'key' to one of their kids) or I guess maybe a special link would work like that too?
To be honest I'm not sure of exactly even what I want beyond the ability to keep photos private and share them with only whom I want, although it would ALSO be a nice feature if I could make a photo in a private set public (in other words, just one or two photos of an otherwise private photo album public).

In the handle_url_tag('http://share.pho.to') service the privacy is already performed. The unique URL on a photo acts like a key. So you can share this unique URL with only those people you want.
Unfortunately, setting privacy options for full albums is still in work. Now we are improving Pho.to users accounts to make them more convenient, for instance:
- user could load his userpic
- user could manage his photos and albums esily
- user will be able to comment others' photos and albums
- users will be able to talk with each other through the private messages.

I dont know how to upload my photos from my facebook page
Val, you should either take a URL of the photo and paste it into Upload by URL button or first download photo from Facebook on your disk and then upload it from disk.
There is no direct way to upload FB photos now, but we are working on integrating Facebook connect on our website.
Spiritwolf, this bug - saving as 1x1 pixel photo is a known bug, but we are not going to fix it. Unfortunately, we don't have enough resources.

i have already installed adobe flash player, and i browse using google chrome. i can only access the 'from disk' button the firdt time i open funny photo. the next time i tried to upload it again just like it did, it does nothing, and even i refreshed it, still nothing happened.

May be you should wait for some time after the uploading window opened before clicking "Browse" button. Try it please.
So you'd better use semi-transparent watermarks and put them in the center of the photo.
