Dear Photo! 3D Album and Photo! 3D Screensaver users!
We are sorry to say that we have stopped hosting 3D templates (galleries) and possibility of uploading templates with Photo! 3D Album and Photo! 3D Screensaver software at Pho.to site.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

How to install a new template in Photo! 3D Album. Step-by-step instruction.

1. Launch the application.
handle_img_tag('http://pics.livejournal.com/butter_fly69/pic/0000af69/s320x240', false)

2. Press the "Design" button
handle_img_tag('http://pics.livejournal.com/butter_fly69/pic/0000bgsp/s320x240', false)

3. Press "Install all" button. All new and updated templates will be downloaded after this step.

4. Or you can download the templates separately - only chosen ones. For this purpose click on a chosen template preview.

5. Click the "Install" button and new template will appear in the list of local templates (in the upper window of Templates panel)

All the templates are stored in as you install them:

C:\Documents and Settings\[User]\Application Data\Photo! 3D Album\DesignTemplates

if you wanted to archive them for yourself for off-line installation.

At first, I would like to thank you for this nice job, a big job, a fantastic job...
My question is, could I create new templates by myself? If not, do you planned to let simples users like me, the possibility to create some of them, with the same easy way, we can create a 3D album?
Sorry for my poor English, but my French is not to bad big_smile

Yes! ))) You can create a 3D template by yourself in any popular 3D editor, like 3D Max for example. Simply create a 3D scene and send us for continuing it. We are waiting for your beautiful template at pr {@} vicman.net

UPDATE: We no longer accept 3D models made by users, as we have not resources to develop Photo! 3D Album and Photo! 3D Screensaver. Please, don't send us 3D models.

Hi, yes, you can use Google SketchUp, but you need to have extended (paid, Pro) version to save in various 3D formats. Please, save in VRML or 3DS.

Hi,

I have problems in downloading new template.

I had already connected to the internet & even tried to un-install & re-install back the program but still fail.

It keep on displaying error message below:

Failed to connect to server. Check your internet connection or allow your firewall to use internet by this program. Then restart application.


Can you please help me? I wish to download new template.

The newest 1.2 version of Photo! 3D Album is available by the link handle_url_tag('http://pho.to/album3d/download.php') smile
It has the "Design" button.

Below is the method of downloading templates directly from Pho.to:

1) Choose the template you want to download from handle_url_tag('http://pho.to/album3d/galleries3d.php') page, for example Camp template - handle_url_tag('http://pho.to/galleries/p3da/camp')

2) Add to the template's URL the "TEMPLATE_NAME.zip" and change the "galleries" word with "templates" word, so for the Camp you'll have handle_url_tag('http://pho.to/templates/p3da/camp/camp.zip') path.

3) Download the archive with template.

4) Put the unzipped folder with template into
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_ACCOUNT\Application Data\Photo! 3D Album\DesignTemplates folder
Windows 7: C:\Users\USER_ACCOUNT\AppData\Roaming\Photo! 3D Album\DesignTemplates folder.
Check if inside your unziped folder there are files, not the 1  folder "Camp".

Apologies for putting this here - I didn't find a new message link.  I like the scrolling scenery program much better than the newer one - which is much like many others.  Adding audio mp3 or midi would be great too.  A version that can be uploaded to youtube would be great too.

My main question is:  my program does not seem to show all the photos - it scrolls around through the beautiful scenes and stop on and enlarges a few - then back to the scrolling.  I watched though 3 cycles and saw only a few photos displayed and enlarged.  Is there an adjustment or how many photos can this handle.  Keep up the great work.  JakeArlen

I just reinstalled the older program with the scrolling screens and see a "this gallery is built by" with a big stop sign.

This totally destroys the ambience of the scenes and photos.

Are all designs going to have that now and how do I get it off?

Thank you so much for this! I needed to take these to my photo computer, which never goes online. It really sucks that you have to use the internet to get these through the program only- not great for people who use it on a computer that doesn't go online
