It's probably because people are becoming too skeptic now. Here's the idea, if someone uses the usual email that he uses, the worst thing which could happen is his mails will be flooded with spams.

Many users of our forum don't leave their straight addresses? Why? Are they became spammed otherwise?

But well, you use a temporary e-mail. So why your logins are look like incoherent letter set? It seems suspicious to me.
